Columbia Metals Ltd are proud to announce we can now offer Arsenical copper C107.This alloy contains between 0.15 and 0.50 percent of arsenic in solid solution and is supplied in the deoxidised condition.
The small addition of arsenic in C107 provides the alloy with enhanced strength properties that are retained at operating temperatures between 200-300 ºC. Apart from increasing the softening resistance, the arsenic addition also enhances corrosion resistance in specific environments. These properties along with the alloy’s excellent fabrication characteristics create a truly outstanding alloy.

TYPICAL USES FOR ARSENICAL COPPER C107
Chemical plant and equipment for relatively non-corrosive liquids and gases at moderately elevated temperatures. Heat exchange equipment, steam locomotive staybolts and rivets, stills, vats, kettles autoclaves and general coppersmithing where welding or brazing is involved.
